This original was inspired by the 10th anniversary of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter Gospel Brunch (Soulful Sounds Brunch). For years, I have purchased a table, and for the most part, the attendees have not changed over the years. We get together each year, happy to see each other, catch up, and to enjoy food, conversation, and entertainment. We take a group photo each year; this art piece is an interpretation of a group photo that could represent many tables at the event. Each year I give the attendees a small token of appreciation for supporting our fundraiser, but this year, I wanted something special to celebrate the 10 years. I gave each attendee a print. It has since become a favorite piece amongst family and friends.
Fun information: My favorites of this piece include the hat in the back row, the two-tone locs, and the hair and earrings of the woman in the center of the first row.
