• The Start

Do you have an image in mind before you start; do you prefer cut or tear? Most often, I do not have an image in mind. I prefer to tear paper as it's challenging to tear with limited white edges showing; I like the challenge!

  • The Favorite Style

Do you have a favorite style that has developed?

Yes, I like the mash up memories series as they really take me back to either my childhood or activities I first experienced with my daughter and now grandkids.

  • The Next Thing

    What are you working on?

A new series made solely from national geographic magazines. It's hard to do, but exciting and fun at the same time. Such color and patterns in each edition, I'm looking forward to where it takes me.

  • The Scraps

What do you do with the extra scraps?

Some I keep, I'm finding I love all the little pieces. I try to reduce my waste, that's important to me. So I find ways to use the small stuff.

  • The Current Obsessions

    What objects are you collecting?

Plants because I often sprinkle them around in the mash up memories. Buildings for dimension and black and white words for big hair!

  • The Sources

Where do you get your magazines? Indigo Hippo Art Thrift Store, Half Price Books, & Friends of the Public Library all in Cincinnati, OH. Friends toss me a few magazines too!
